Art Show : The Courtyard Show
On Sunday, Feb. 3, students and community members gathered for a free courtyard art show in the UHM art building featuring the visual projections of Rujunko Pugh and video/music by her boyfriend Sean Kafer. Although Kafer was not physically present, Pugh related how they coordinated the show over the phone and on the internet. Several acoustic musicians also turned out for the show, including local artist Gary Liu, Jr. and Megum Pie, as well as Matt Hopper, a special guest from Alaska.
Gary Liu is one of the acoustic artists who performed at Sunday's Courtyard Show, on the third floor of the Art Building at the University of Hawaii.

Megum Pie, one of the performers at the show, is a local artist who also plays regularly at venues in town. The art piece behind her, designed by Rujunko Pugh, is a plant native to Hawaii, overlaid with the plant's DNA structure.

Matt Hopper, a special guest from Alaska, performed with guitar and harmonica.
